- Prepare and review complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, multi-state, and international) ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Conduct tax research and planning to optimize tax strategies for clients.
- Collaborate with team members to manage, plan, and execute multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service by delivering high-quality results.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in tax laws to provide accurate advice and consultation to clients.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, including leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience in tax preparation.
- Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- A commitment to exceptional client service and an ability to work well within a team environment.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
