The
Coordinator of Aide Services is responsible for leading the site's Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Hospice Aides team in compliance with Brighton Hospice Best Practices (BHBP; policy, procedure), and applicable federal, state, and local agency laws and regulations; ensuring Brighton fulfills its mission of providing the best physical, emotional, and spiritual care for patients and patients' families.
On an average day, you will
- Ensuring the site meets Brighton and regulatory requirements
- Regularly meet with and inform the Site Administrator, Director of Clinical Services, Regional Director of Aide Services and State/Lead Coordinator of Aide Services of hiring needs
- Interview potential team members
- Mentor and provide coaching to current team members
- Conduct 90day reviews
- Conduct annual reviews
- Recommend pay increases and promotions
- Set individual and team goals and objectives
- Assessing and providing training and development
- Frequently provide counseling to current team members
- Corrective actions

Qualifications/Desired Skills
- At least two years of direct leadership experience required
- Active CNA certification
- Experience managing direct reports is preferred and considered necessary to excel in this role
- Scheduling experience, preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Proficiency with computer systems, iPads, and EMRs
- Passion for providing the best possible care to patients and their families
- Excitement to do work that makes a difference
- Experience completing patient visit documentation and recordkeeping
