Position Summary:

Joining our Dental Department, the
Administrator of Dental will join our Bronx FQHC.

The primary function of the Administrator of Dental is to be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing dental services throughout the UHP network.

The Administrator will provide high-quality dental services while ensuring associate and patient satisfaction.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in related field required.
  • NYS Registered Dental Hygienist strongly preferred.
  • 25 years of experience in dental management/dental practice administration.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and operating sterile processing equipment.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Experience in a FQHC dental department is a plus.
  • Experience in scheduling and productivity management of dental providers.

Key Duties:


  • Stay up to date on current dental procedures and techniques to ensure quality care and implement best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete them on time Helping to achieve service goals.
  • Develop reports to evaluate trends to improve service delivery and productivity. with a "cando attitude"
  • Maximize the utilization of dental services across the UHP network by enhancing new patient visits and patient retention.
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels and appropriate schedules at all UHP dental sites.


This is a full time role with a Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm schedule (or Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays).


Compensation**:
Minimum: $100,000 per year Maximum: $120,000 per year.
