Job Summary:


Responsibilities:

• Set up tooling and operate CNC Machines for production observing safety policies.
• Adjust programs as needed to maintain tolerances and specifications.
• Verifies conformance of work pieces to specifications before and after processing
• Perform daily maintenance tasks including startup and shutdown procedures on equipment.
• Ensure production schedule follows through as directed by Supervisor.
• Assist in other manufacturing activities and tasks as directed.
• Detect and report defective materials and unsafe conditions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• CNC press brake operations experience or substantial, related technical training.
• Amada preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Ability to select appropriate press brake tooling per part.
• Working knowledge of sheet metal materials and gauges (primarily steel & aluminum)
• Working knowledge of common sheet metal terms (bend deductions, inside radius, and tonnage requirements)
• Ability to use inspection instruments such as calipers and gauges to maintain tolerances.
• Capable of performing basic shop calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Able to lift 40lbs without assistance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanically inclined and handy in using shop tools that aid in other areas of production as needed.

Pay:

• Semimonthly

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Monday

• Thursday,6AM to 4PM
• 10hour shifts with 30 minutes paid lunch
