The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 professions nationwide who want to become even better with us.

We are looking for you for a 3-year apprenticeship as a specialist in vehicle operations (m/f/d) for Omnibusverkehr Franken GmbH at the Gemünden (Main) or Würzburg location. The vocational school is located in Nuremberg.
What to expect in your apprenticeship:
  • You will learn how to drive buses and obtain a Class D driver's license
  • Vehicle technology of different bus models
  • You will learn how to maintain and troubleshoot buses
  • Customer consultation on transport connections and fares
  • Implementation of advertising measures
  • You will become familiar with the planning and control of vehicle and personnel deployment
As a trained specialist in vehicle operations, you will primarily be deployed in the control center and will be responsible for personnel and vehicle scheduling.
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed secondary school (or will soon) and are at least 17 years old
  • You are enthusiastic about technology
  • You remain calm and keep an overview even in difficult situations
  • You value service and safety orientation
  • You are flexible
