The state of the art obstetrical unit complete with the county's first single family Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) enhances parent-child bonding for even the most fragile of infants, and an on-site Perinatal Center provides complete fetal diagnostic testing and genetic counseling.
Responsibilities (L&D RNs):
- Labor support and monitoring
- Fetal monitoring
- Assisting with childbirth
- Administering medications during labor
- Providing emotional support to mothers and families
- Postpartum care for mother and newborn
- Breastfeeding support and education
- Neonatal assessment and care
- Collaboration with obstetricians and other healthcare providers
- Patient advocacy
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery
- RN license in the state of CA
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- BLS and ACLS certification required
