Your Responsibilities:

Research and selection of delivery methods and placement of orders for samples and series parts
Analysis of procurement and raw material markets for the assigned purchasing area
Planning and implementation of measures to implement groupwide procurement strategies
Negotiation of prices and management and optimization of contract, delivery, and payment conditions
Identification of potential cost savings
Preparation of inquiries and comparison of offers, as well as price and value analyses
Development of new sources of supply, management of existing suppliers, and evaluation and development of suppliers
Ensuring the delivery of purchased parts, clarification of delivery problems and bottlenecks
Design and implementation of cost reduction programs in crossfunctional teams
Crosssite project work on material group management in an international environment

Your Qualifications:

Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar qualification
Several years of experience in purchasing
Knowledge of the ERP system InforLN desirable
Fluent in English
Good technical and economic understanding
Confident appearance and assertiveness, independent and structured way of working, as well as teamwork skills
