(Senior) IT System Engineer (m/f/d)


Full-time, Permanent · Cologne


Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain VMware NSX solutions for network virtualization and segmentation to ensure a secure and efficient infrastructure
  • Integrate and manage Azure Cloud Services, including configuration, deployment, and monitoring of virtual machines, networks, and services in the Azure environment
  • Provide guidance to clients and internal teams on best practices, implementation strategies, and potential risks related to VMware NSX, Microsoft Active Directory, and Azure Cloud Services
  • Support the sales team in creating proposals, bids, and RFPs by providing technical details and specifications of proposed IT solutions
  • Maintain, update, and improve our own data centers where we offer cloud and hosting services to our clients
  • Identify and determine optimization needs of existing infrastructures in close collaboration with clients
Your Profile:
  • You have completed a degree in IT or a comparable IT education and have several years of professional experience
  • You hold relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and other relevant certifications
  • You have strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex IT infrastructure problems
  • You have proven experience in planning, implementing, and managing VMware NSX,
