Description

Countryside Saloon is a busy sports bar/grill in Des Plaines. We are looking to fill a permanent LINE COOK and
PIZZA MAKER position immediately. EVENINGS - WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY, 3:00-11:30 +/- (Holidays are a must but we are closed most major holidays).


LINE COOKS:

At least one year of line experience, know how to handle themselves in a tight kitchen, be able to work independently, cleanly and quickly.

Are responsible for the preparation, production and presentation of all menu items.


PIZZA MAKER

At least one year of experience in pizza making, able to keep up with busy pizza line and pay attention to detail.

Must be able to read tickets printed and communicate well with other kitchen staff in this fast pace environment.


Additional Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, saniti
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends if needed would be helpful

Compensation:
We offer a competitive hourly rate starting at $19 per hour, based on experience.
