Your task:

In your role on emergency rescue vehicles, you will provide initial medical care, including invasive procedures if necessary.

You will perform life-saving measures and stabilize patients under the guidance of a physician or independently in the absence of a physician, in accordance with the Emergency Medical Services Act.

Your responsibilities will also include:

Providing professional guidance to emergency medical technicians and trainees in the rescue service
Assuming responsibilities of a higher level of emergency response until leadership personnel arrive
Ensuring the operational readiness of equipment, materials, and emergency vehicles, including maintenance and repair work
Maintaining, cleaning, and disinfecting entrusted rescue equipment, including medical devices and aids, in accordance with the current hygiene plan
Accurate and complete documentation of emergency service operations
Performing administrative tasks and maintaining records in the rescue service
Participating in daily duties at the station, conducting training and continuing education, and attending further training events

What you bring:

Completion of training as an emergency medical technician (m/f/d)
Several years of professional experience in emergency rescue services preferred
Knowledge of the Emergency Medical Services Act, Medical Device Regulation, Medical Device Implementation Act, Medical Device Operator Ordinance, Pharmaceutical Law, Pharmacy Law, and Narcotics Law
Thorough understanding of traffic regulations and criminal law
Strong communication skills, confident public presence, and trustworthiness and discretion
High level of commitment, teamwork, and independent work ethic
