    Job Overview:
    Join our team as a Nursing Assistant in the Women's Health Unit. You'll be providing basic, direct patient care tailored to specific age-related needs.

    Assume responsibility for patient care as part of the healthcare team, receiving guidance from the Registered Nurse.

    All care will be delivered in compliance with department policies and Standards of Care.


    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • High School Diploma
    • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
    • Proficiency in English language
    • Strong communication and basic math skills
    • Completion of Orientation Programs

    Preferred:

    • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or completion of Registered Nurse accredited clinical courses or a Certified Nursing Assistant program

    Certifications and Licenses:

    • BLS certification through American Heart Association

    Scheduling Requirements:

    • Night shifts from 11:00PM - 7:00AM
    • Every other weekend required, varying schedule during the week based on department needs
    • Part-Time (15 hrs)
    • 2 Week Mandatory Orientation

    Essential Functions:

    • Participate in assessing patient needs and communicating with the healthcare team
    • Engage in staff, patient, and/or family education relevant to personal knowledge base
    • Contribute to unit Quality Improvement activities
    • Apply principles of growth and development to provide age-specific treatment and care
