Job Summary:


As the Campaign Driver for the Show Up Strong '24 campaign, you are more than just a driver; you are a vital team member responsible for the safe transportation of the campaign's customized vehicle and for engaging with the public in a dynamic and friendly manner.

This role requires excellent driving skills combined with a charismatic and outgoing personality, as you will help represent the campaign both behind the wheel and in front of the camera.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Safely drive and maneuver the campaign vehicle to and from various event locations.
  • Engage with the public in a friendly and informative manner, representing the campaign's goals and messages.
  • Participate in content creation, potentially appearing in videos and photos that promote the campaign.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of campaign equipment and materials.
  • Maintain timely communication with the campaign team regarding travel schedules and updates.
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and presentable at all times.
  • Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or necessary repairs.
  • Comply with all traffic and city regulations while on duty.
  • Participate in training sessions as required by the campaign.

Requirements:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in driving large vehicles or vans preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and engaging personality.
  • Comfortable with public interaction and being filmed for campaign content.
  • Strong time management and punctuality.
  • Excellent navigational and driving skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to assist with setup and breakdown of campaign materials.

Compensation and Schedule:

Hourly Wage: $25 per hour.

Weekly Hours: 15-30 hours per week, depending on the event schedule.
