We're Hiring
We are currently seeking a dedicated
Fiber Splicer to join our team and contribute to our continued growth.

As a Fiber Splicer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables and associated equipment.


Responsibilities

  • Splice and terminate fiber optic cables according to industry standards and specifications.
  • Perform fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, and connectorization of fiber optic cables.
  • Conduct fiber optic cable testing using OTDRs, power meters, and other testing equipment to ensure quality performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic cables and associated equipment, including identifying and resolving signal loss or attenuation issues.
  • Perform fiber optic cable installations, route planning, and documentation as per project requirements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of splicing, testing, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and project managers, to ensure timely completion of projects.

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or training in fiber optics is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Fiber Splicer or similar role, with a strong understanding of fiber optic cable splicing techniques and equipment.
  • Proficiency in fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, and fiber optic connectorization.
  • Familiarity with fiber optic testing equipment such as OTDRs, power meters, and light sources.
  • Ability to read and interpret fiber optic cable schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay:
$50, $65,000.00 per year
