The Business Partner is responsible for supporting and coordinating matters to support the business unit related to employee training, engagement, staffing and compliance.

This role involves ensuring compliance with Regulatory standards, company policies and regulations.

This position supports the organization's goals by assisting in planning, development and implementation of human resources policies, programs and practices.


  • Collaborate with department directors & managers to identify departmental needs through regular (weekly) meetings with respective business units.
  • Training /

Compliance Oversight:
Collaborate with the compliance team to facilitate training sessions using a variety of methods, such as presentations, workshops, and online modules,
- ensuring content is engaging and effectively delivered to employees at all levels.

  • Guides business unit on employee relations / counseling for supervisors and employees regarding personnel matters, job difficulties and development opportunities. Consult with the labor department as needed/required.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Participate in the Environment of Care meetings and monitors the data.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of training activities, compliance audits, and employee certification requirements, collaboration with unit director and HR compliance team to ensure documentation is current and accessible for internal and external audits.
  • Employee Engagement: Collaborates with business unit to promote a culture of continuous staff engagement and training development by encouraging employee participation in training initiatives and providing support and resources.
  • Escalation: Effective communication and escalation of challenges as identified
  • Effective and timely communication and escalation to HRD as needed
  • Additional Responsibilities including regulatory survey participation, emergency management, staff engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations via regular internal audits and data management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline; or
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience in human resources or personnel administration, labor relations, employee relations, learning and development, talent acquisition, customer service (providing information and resolving customer concerns), or a related administrative support function; or
  • High School Diploma or its educational equivalent and four (4) years of relevant experience, as described in "2" above.
