    Health Data Scientist


    Key Role:
    Develop, implement, and support the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment and usage. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.


    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
    • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications at enterprise scale
    • 5+ years of experience working with the FDA analyzing and working data sources
    • 3+ years of experience with software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
    • Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
    • Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs
    • Public Trust
    • Bachelor's degree

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, SQL/NoSQL, Scala, or Java
    • Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques
    • Experience with Agile engineering practices
    • Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172, annualized USD).

    The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
