Seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a top-tier Construction Design & Build company in Merritt Island, FL

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending, 401(k), paid holidays, Life and Disability Insurance, and additional supplemental products.

Pay:
$120k-135k annually based on experience
Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
Experience on Aerospace Manufacturing facilities, Commercial or Industrial projects highly preferred

Job Responsibilities for Assistant Project Manager:
Participates in project estimating and proposal preparation to the extent required.
Enter all information for AWA's meeting minutes and change orders in Procore

Reviews assigned project(s) after awarded to help define project scope, assist in determining work packages, and to help develop schedules, and budgets.

Has regular contact with the client representative to obtain the more detailed information required to assure that engineering decisions on project/implementation meet client operational needs and are in line with the contractual scope of work.

Establishes client liaison network to keep all interested parties informed of project planning, start date, completion date and work progress.

Manpower, equipment, materials, and quality problems are recognized for timely intervention and resolution.

Meets with client management periodically during a project's term to resolve issues and at a project's completion to obtain final client approvals.

Qualifications for Assistant Project Manager:
5 plus years construction project management experience is required
2 plus years' experience on commercial or aerospace manufacturing facilities or industrial projects is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is preferred.
Must be proficient in Procore, and MS Office Suite.
