Cannabis Pre-Roll Production Specialist

Job Summary:

The Cannabis Pre-Roll Production Specialist is responsible for the production of various sizes of pre-rolls, including half-gram and full-gram joints, as well as kief-infused joints.

This role involves sorting flower, rolling, gluing, and kiefing to produce high-quality pre-rolls in compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

Sort and prepare cannabis flower for preroll production, ensuring consistent quality and weight.
Produce prerolls of various sizes (halfgram, fullgram) using manual or automated rolling techniques.
Conduct quality checks on prerolls to ensure they meet company standards for size, weight, and appearance.
Maintain detailed records of production batches, including flower strain, weight, and any additives used.
Clean and maintain rolling equipment and work areas to ensure a hygienic production environment.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding cannabis production and handling.
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all products meet regulatory and company standards.
Assist with packaging and labeling prerolls as needed.
Maintain inventory of production supplies and report any shortages to management.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure product consistency and safety.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in cannabis production is a plus.
Proven experience in cannabis production, particularly in preroll manufacturing.
Knowledge of different cannabis strains and their characteristics.
Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets in a fastpaced environment.
Understanding of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
Good organizational and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
Excellent communication skills.
