We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office.

(This job is not remote nor hybrid.) This position is responsible for bi-weekly payroll and provides general accounting support as needed by the Finance Manager.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist with Accounts Receivable generate invoices, receiving and recording checks and automatic payments
  • Assist with Accounts Payable receiving, paying, and recording subconsultant and vendor bills
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
  • Process expense reports
  • Process payroll on a biweekly basis
  • Ability to learn and input information into Deltek Vision
  • Exhibit good communication skills must professionally relate to Clients, Vendors, Principals and Internal Customers.

Requirements:


  • High School diploma required college preferred
  • Experience processing payroll through ADP
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years proven accounting experience, preferably as a Payroll Clerk or Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Experience with detailed billing
  • Excellent processing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability and experience working as a member of a team
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a willingness to embrace and work with new technologies
