Job Description

Position Overview: Maintenance position available at a multifamily housing community. Heavy cleaning is involved on a daily basis in addition to ensuring the community, building, grounds, apartments, and common areas are maintained in a safe and marketable condition, including but not limited to completing work order requests in a timely fashion, communicating details of work orders, prioritizing and completing maintenance in conjunction with the needs of the leasing efforts, assessing appropriate action for repair vs replace situations (including carpet, tile or vinyl, etc.), and proactively identifying and addressing community needs and liabilities.

Position Requirements: Maintenance experience, professional presentation, ability to prioritize, superior communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

Bring your minimum of 3 years of apartment cleaning and/or janitorial experience to the table.
Thrive in a collaborative team environment, where your input and teamwork truly matter.
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws is a bonus, showcasing your commitment to compliance.
Exhibit a keen eye for detail, consistently striving for cleanliness and order.
Master the art of time management, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently without compromising quality.
Embrace physical requirements, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Showcase excellent communication skills, a must for interacting professionally with both residents and colleagues.
Demonstrate reliability and punctuality, reinforcing your dedication to the role.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
