Job Purpose:
Set-up and operate Punch Press to manufacture parts that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Setup, adjust and prepare all sizes of punch presses to perform operations such as punch, black, shear, draw, etc.
- Align and secure dies
- Adjust ram stroke
- Set stripper, knockout, ejecting and safety devices
- Set and time feeding equipment
- Operate press after setup is complete
- Remove dies after run
- Detect and report faulty work, malfunction of dies or press
- Must be able to work from part drawings and specifications
- Check first and subsequent pieces using measuring instruments
- Trouble shooting and ability to assist Tool Maker
- Ability to do multiple tasks (operate Automatic Punch Press, Set-Ups, etc.)
- May instruct assigned personnel on operating procedures and job hazards
- Fill out all paperwork as required
- Follow all company policies and procedures as applicable to position
- Follow all cleanup and housekeeping procedures
- Understand and follow safety/security practices
Education and/or Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum 1 year related Punch Press experience or equivalent
- Fork Lift certification preferred

Pay:
Up to $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Night shift
Education:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Punch Press Setup: 1 year (preferred)
