- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee receiving and shipping operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless flow of materials and products in and out of the warehouse.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, such as productivity, accuracy, and inventory levels.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in the warehouse promptly and effectively.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote employee engagement and development.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
