    Description

    Our client seeks an **Experienced Warehouse Supervisor** for their Baltimore operations facility.

    The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the work of a warehouse team of receivers and pickers to ensure the safe and efficient flow of products.

    **Duties:**

    Supervise, coach, develop, evaluate, and mentor the warehouse workers.

    Monitor performance, provide guidance and discipline as needed.

    Planning the work schedules to ensure the efficient use of labor and to reduce costs.

    Protect against inventory loss, oversee physical counts, and reconcile variances.

    Provide oversight of housekeeping and product code rotation.

    Train employees on proper techniques and safety protocols.

    Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, troubleshoot problems, provide instruction on proper use and preventive maintenance of equipment.

    Organize storage area to maximize efficient use of floor space, adhere to design principles, and recommend improvements as needed.

    Evaluate and recommend shipping and receiving procedures.

    Ensure the physical security of the facility.

    Other duties as needed.

    **Qualifications:** 3-5 years of proven supervisory experience in a warehouse environment. HS Diploma or GED. Strong planning, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. PC proficient and ability to use MS Office. Ability to operate a Forklift and warehouse equipment safely. Proficient in freight handling and loading techniques. Strong math ability. Trained in HACCP. Flexibility to work as needed until work is completed.
