• Plan and implement ageappropriate curriculum for preschoolaged children
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
• Monitor and assess children's progress, keeping records of their development
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
• Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment

• Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of toddler care and early childhood development principles
• Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
• Understanding of working with children on the autism spectrum
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Possession of a high school diploma or GED. Associate degree (preferred).
• Previous 6 months1year experience working with children.
• Must poses a minimum of six (6) units in Child Development
• If working with Infants must hold 3 CHDV units in Infant & Toddler or Zero
