As a Flavor Scientist, your mission is to discover, understand, and showcase Bell's extraordinary flavor technologies, allowing us to captivate more customers and explore a broader range of delectable food categories.

Your expertise will drive innovation, while your creative inputs will transform flavors into unforgettable culinary experiences.

Responsibilities:

Craft and refine flavor solutions, tinker with formulas, curating a remarkable toolkit and library of successful flavor technologies that span across a vast spectrum of profiles, enchanting both sweet and savory creations.
Spark innovation among R&D peers as you generate and champion groundbreaking ideas, demonstrating their feasibility and actively participating in the commercialization of new technologies.
Become the flavor ambassador within our organization by effectively communicating new and ingenious ways of utilizing our existing flavors to internal stakeholders through product demonstrations, project support, and effective networking.

To be successful in this role:

Experience with flavor compounding/formulation with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience with common flavoring chemicals and raw materials.
Possess basic understanding of flavor chemistry and a solid foundation in food science principles.
Experience with novel ingredient research and testing.
Have a strong drive to understand HOW and WHY aroma chemicals and food ingredients interact with consumer perceptions.
Demonstrate remarkable experimentation skills, designing your own experiments, testing hypotheses, and drawing insightful conclusions that generate novel ideas and solutions.
Have good standing with a professional flavoring organization such as the Society of Flavor Chemists.
Drive new initiatives with enthusiasm and seamlessly collaborate with crossfunctional teams, bringing together diverse talents to create flavor symphonies.
Showcase outstanding teamwork, interpersonal skills, and communication prowess, fostering a harmonious environment where collaboration and creativity thrive.
