    Hospitalist Opening in Vermont

    Located in Rutland, VT

    1hr and 45min to Burlington, VT

    Full-time, Permanent

    NO Visa Support


    Opportunity:
    We are looking for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join our team of sixteen. We are one of the largest hospitals in Vermont with 133 licensed beds serving Rutland County.

    Our experienced staff has served the community since 2000 and work closely with our numerous specialists, clinical support staff and community partners to deliver expert care to our patients.

    Our closed ICU is staffed with full time intensivists to aid with critically ill patients and no ICU responsibility is expected.

    We support our ED staff with 2 dedicated Hospitalist admitters in the afternoon to help improve the care and flow of our patients presenting to the hospital.

    Our admitters and rounders work 14 shifts in 28 days plus 2 weeks vacation. The hours of the admitter shift are from 11am-9pm. Rounders work 7am-5pm.


    Details:

    • Salaries for 168 shifts, and 182 shifts
    • Must be board certified or board eligible.
    • Eligibility is within five year of completion of training.

    You may notice that many of our buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places due to the area's designation as the Rutland Downtown Historic District.

    Downtown Rutland is also close to several indoor and outdoor recreational areas including the Long Trail, Killington and Pico Mountains, Pine Hill Park, and Castleton Arena and Giorgetti Arena.
