We are currently seeking an Overhead Welder (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our Dresden location

Your responsibilities will include:

Repairing damaged areas on rails and switches through thermit and arc welding, as well as creating insulated rail joints and performing grinding work
Ensuring the quality of work performed by your team
Primarily working in the Saxony region
Participating in our internal training program, attending regular further education courses, and continuously learning and improving your skills
Checking the functionality of assigned equipment, tools, and vehicles needed for your daily tasks, as well as collaborating with team leaders to prepare the construction site

Your profile should include:

Completed training as a track or civil engineering specialist, or in another metalworking profession, or already trained as an overhead welder in the AS and E-A methods, or willing to obtain these qualifications
Strong commitment and willingness to learn for internal training programs
Team player who can be relied upon by colleagues
Valid Class C1 driver's license or willingness to obtain one
Good physical health and flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday work, as well as outdoor work
