Delivery Driver
***We are looking for an experienced
Delivery Driver to transport a wide range of materials to and from job sites. This position is responsible for the communication between the operations manager, project manager, and foremans. To ensure that the correct material, supplies, and equipment are at each job site when needed, to ensure that each job is completed in the projected time frame. All vehicles are to be inspected for safety and security upon loading and unloading. Safety and lifting protocols are to be followed during deliveries and safety reviews are to be completed after deliveries.

OBJECTIVES
- Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day
- Loads delivery vehicles with parcels scheduled for delivery
- Completes all assigned deliveries; averaging 78 deliveries daily
- Communicates between teams to ensure jobs are being completed in the projected time frame
- Communicates with distributors in regards to new orders and/or pending pick up
- Maintains basis records of truck mileage and deliveries made
- Ensure the delivery vehicle receives basic maintenance; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor
- Manages time effectively to ensure that dumps can be made in between deliveries
- Assists the crew on job sites when needed
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned
COMPETENCIES
- Ability to drive trucks with trailers
- Demonstrates familiarity with using navigation systems such as GPS, smartphone apps, and/or webbased or physical maps
- Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision
- Ability to plan delivery routes
- Ability to maintain basic logs and records
- Demonstrates strong time management skills to ensure deliveries are being made on schedule
- Excellent vision and hand eye coordination to stay safe while driving
- Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times
- Ability to reliably commute to and from the office on a daily basis
- Possesses a valid/active driver's license
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma required
- 12 years experience as a delivery driver preferred
- Experience of trailer connections and equipment preferred
- Clean driving record required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs at a time, regularly
- Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather
COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY

$ $20.00 per hour
