Position Summary:

Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or twoyear College equivalent (at least 60 undergraduate hours) and
One year of priorrelated work experience.
Job Description:
The position monitors and coordinates the activities of and provides support and assistance to assigned laboratories to enable effective and safe lab operations.
Prefer applicants with:
Associate's Degree in Science or Healthcare related field.
Able to utilize Microsoft software and lab related equipment.
Supplemental Job Information:
Assists and supports faculty and students regarding appropriate use of equipment and lab procedures; troubleshoots problems.
If appropriate, setsup and takes down lab for class. Cleans and stocks materials.
Provides necessary materials and equipment required for effective laboratory instruction and experiments.
Assists faculty with the preparation of lab materials and lab tests
Monitors and coordinates lab activities; trains and/or provides direction to parttime lab technicians and student assistants.
Maintains safe and clean working conditions in the lab.
Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.
Prepare specimens for laboratory use. Maintain lab equipment as needed; maintenance and keep supplies stocked as needed.
Performs similar and related duties as assigned.
Pay Rate:

- $18.63 hourly
