Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting for a Housing Resource Specialist to support the Keeping Families Together Program in Atlantic County, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support services to families with a history of homelessness or housing instability
  • Assist parents in finding appropriate housing and making a successful transition to selfsufficient living
  • Provide coaching and advocacy regarding tenant issues
  • Work collaboratively with property managers and landlords
  • Work collaboratively with your KFT peers, DCP&P and community service providers
  • Complete documentation consistent with program and agency requirements

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in counseling or a related field
  • Strong engaging, communication and collaboration skills
  • Professionalism, ethics and a commitment to excellence in care
  • Must demonstrate initiative, creativity, reliability and the ability to work well independently Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment
  • Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record
