Job description: SAP is a nice to have, must know Test of Controls, accounting/audit background, MUST understand audit process inside and out

Our client is looking for a SAP Senior Associate - Audit Controls Analyst, to oversee and maintain audit activities for the SAP Financial System team. The SAP team operates in a cross-functional team approach.

The ideal candidate desires to / would be expected to:

Monitor compliance with controls (Sarbanes-Oxley (Sox), Model Audit Rule (MAR), etc.) for the SAP environment
Coordination and audit control support with internal and external auditors
Work with SAP Role Admin team to assess risks within the SAP environment and develop effective controls
Develop and maintain continuous auditing and monitoring procedures
Perform routine audit control functions for the SAP Financial System team
Analyze SAP access to maintain SAP Licensing compliance
Analyze complex audit problems and identify recommended solutions
Strong understanding of audit and documentation requirements
Ability to take ownership and lead projects with minimal guidance
Acquire new skills and learn new technologies
Adaptable to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks
Utilize agile philosophies

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Information Technology or other related fields
7+ years of internal audit, IT, SAP, or business process controls experience or 3-5+ years public accounting audit experience
Understands finance business processes, the inherent risks, and potential controls to mitigate risks
Full cycle implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA, including risk assessment, control identification, design, testing, and deployment
Knowledge of SAP GRC Access and Process Control or other compliance tools
Experience in the design, testing, and implementation of business process controls and ITGCs in an SAP S/4 HANA environment, including both SAP automated and manual controls
Experience working with segregation of duty frameworks and associated mitigating controls
Insurance Accounting, Finance, or related experience
Certification preferred, such as: CISA, CISM, CPA, or/and CIA
