- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope of work, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Travel to project sites to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and any deviations from the original plan.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and change requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and procurement activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Track project expenses against budget allocations, identifying variances and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor project teams to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct performance evaluations, feedback sessions, and training programs as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on HVAC systems for large commercial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC equipment, systems, and installation methods.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel extensively to project sites as required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
