Position Summary:
Spencer East Brookfield School District wants to add a dynamic, qualified ELL Teacher to our Special Education Team.

Our supportive special education team is looking for an individual who provides English language development instruction to children who are acquiring English as an additional language, working collaboratively with other instructional personnel, including a district-wide team of ELL teachers, to meet the individual needs of each child.

Required activities include planning and delivering lessons, collaborating with classroom teachers and specialists, administering formative and summative assessments, completing documentation required for compliance, and attending district ELL meetings and professional development.


REPORTING STRUCTURE:
The ELL Teacher reports to the School Building Administrators in consultation with the Director of Student Services. Qualifications (required):
  • Valid License/Certification in the area Experience with students who have diverse behavioral needs Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
