What role you will play in our team:
  • Serve as project focal point for execution of equipment and material procurement, commercial evaluation, award, expediting, logistics planning and execution, field materials management and EPC Subcontracting.
  • Lead bidding and award of long lead equipment packages
  • The PPA will also focus on sitespecific service contracts, materials agreements and scope bundling opportunities to drive efficiencies and cost savings across their portfolio
  • This position regularly engages with disciplines such as Engineering, Quality and Construction to ensure crossfunctional awareness of status and issue mitigation efforts
  • PPA will collaborate with project Engineering, Supply Chain and Payables organizations to ensure purchase order close out and invoice payment on timely basis
  • Position is officebased in Houston, working with our Unconventional O&G portfolio of capital projects

What you will do:


  • Serve as project focal point for execution of equipment and material procurement, commercial evaluation, award, expediting, logistics planning and execution, field materials management and EPC Subcontracting for the Unconventional Projects team.
  • Lead efforts to obtain and communicate global market intel and project sourcing best practices to project team; engage with EM Global Procurement (Equipment & Materials, Global Sourcing, etc. to support).
  • Finalize Long Lead Equipment (LLE) list and procurement schedule, incorporating considerations such as lead time, construction sequence or early vendor data needs. Lead execution of LLE purchase commitments.
  • Finalize project equipment list and major subcontract list, including associated commercial strategies, aligned bidder(s) lists, schedules for bid and award, and key evaluation criteria
  • Oversee execution of procurement activities for full slate of equipment list, from package preparation to bidding, evaluation, award, expediting, logistics execution and delivery to site.
  • The PPA will also develop portfolio service contracts, materials agreements and scope bundling opportunities to drive efficiencies and cost savings across their portfolio.
  • Leverage relationships with supplier community and Category Management to escalate and mitigate order execution issues in a timely and effective manner. This position regularly engages with disciplines such as Engineering, Quality and Construction to ensure crossfunctional awareness of status and issue mitigation efforts.
  • PPA will collaborate with project Engineering, Supply Chain and Payables organizations to ensure purchase order close out and invoice payment on timely basis
