Position: Data Entry Clerk

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering and updating data in our school's database, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter and update student information, including personal details, attendance records, and academic progress, into the school's database

Maintain confidentiality and security of all student records

Verify accuracy of data entered and make necessary corrections

Communicate with staff to resolve any discrepancies or missing information

Generate reports and assist in data analysis as needed

Assist with organizing and maintaining physical records

Provide support to other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field

Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with student information systems is a plus

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The Data Entry Clerk will primarily work in an office setting, with occasional tasks that may require physical activity.
