    Genesis10 is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager with SAP experience for a 9-12 month project for a client located in Minneapolis MN or Denver CO.

    Must be able to go on site 2-3 days a week at either location. w-2 only consultants.

    Description/Comment:
    Responsible for managing complex and high risks projects. Oversees project budgets and schedules. Manage day-to-day aspects of project scope. Minimizes project risk. Creates and manages project work plans and work breakdown structures. At client, we strive to be the preferred and trusted provider of the energy our customers need.     The ideal candidate will have experience delivering business applications related to finance as well as strong skills in executive communication and managing large IT application projects.

    The project manager will prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our project goals are being achieved.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation * Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation * Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget * Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met * Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes * Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors * Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to escalation channel * Financial tracking for the project

    Required Basic Qualifications:

    Ten or more years of project management experience, with at least 5 years of application related deployments * Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines * Proven success working with all levels of management * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong executive communication skills * Experience managing large IT projects Excellent presentation skills.

    Preferred skills and qualifications * Experience managing projects that deploy finance applications * Professional certification such as PMP * Delivered applications to internal business users * Experience working with business users as well as IT resources * Experience with SAP SAC implementations Skills not interested in * No infrastructure PMs Not a fully remote role
    • Will need to be in office at times for meetings in Minneapolis or in Denver, Co
    • May not be required in the office every week, however, for first few weeks, there will be a lot of team workshops.
    Face time required - x 4 days (to start). Also, periods when they wouldn't come into the office at all.


    Compensation:

    Hourly W2 pay rate $70.00-$80.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
