Overview of tasks:
As a tool mechanic (m/w/d), you will manufacture punching tools and bending devices for industrial series production. You will also produce metal or plastic parts.

First, you will consult with colleagues in the design department and familiarize yourself with the future function of the tool.

Then, you will plan the individual work steps and select the necessary materials, tools, and machines.

You will process metals, for example, by drilling, milling, turning, grinding, filing, polishing, and hammering, while precisely adhering to the dimensions specified in technical drawings.

You will then assemble the individual parts, either manually or using CNC machine tools that you may have programmed yourself.

You will also assemble the individual parts into complete tools and test them for proper functioning. Additionally, you will maintain and repair damaged or worn tool parts.
