Rehab Maxx is always looking for caring professionals to join our team. Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide Outpatient Therapy Services. Our ideal candidate will be an integral team player who delivers quality patient care.

Overview:
As a Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in performing initial patient assessments, teaching patients to use adaptive technology and coaching them through therapeutic activities. If you have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical conditions
Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
Provide patients with treatment to help them develop and improve their ability to complete everyday tasks related to daily life
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercise programs
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes

Qualifications:

Doctorate, Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Experience in outpatient settings is preferred
Familiarity with geriatrics is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Strong understanding of anatomy
Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques
