    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our organization by maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

    ** Candidates must be located in the North Carolina region (ideally Charlotte Metro).**

    What will you do day-to-day?

    • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
    • Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
    • Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
    • Support external audits and tax filings as needed

    Who are you?

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • CPA certification or progress towards certification preferred
    • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and advanced Excel skills
    • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
