You'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing patient billing statements, resolving billing inquiries, and managing collections to maximize revenue recovery.

• Generate and review patient billing statements in accordance with insurance policies and guidelines.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and insurance claim rejections.
• Communicate with patients to address billing inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and coding practices.
• Utilize billing software and systems to track and manage accounts receivable.
• Implement collection strategies to reduce outstanding balances and improve cash flow.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to billing and collections.
• Analyze accounts receivable reports and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Assist in developing and maintaining billing and collections policies and procedures.
• Work closely with insurance providers to verify coverage and resolve payment issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide regular updates and reports on billing and collections activities to management.

• Previous experience in medical billing and collections preferred.
• Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a remote environment.
• Certification in medical billing and coding a plus.
