Become part of Baumer and contribute significantly to the success of our products on the world market with your expertise.
What I will be doing:
- Accompanying or leading development projects in the field of sensor technology
- Development of hardware and electronics for optical or magnetic sensors
- Creation of designs for analog and digital circuits
- Creation and maintenance of firmware for μC
- Working on new developments and optimization of our existing products in a cross-site development team
What it takes:
- A successfully completed engineering degree in electrical engineering, technical informatics, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in R&D
- Ideally, experience in the field of sensor technology
- Experience in project management
- Ideally, knowledge of PLM systems for project and product documentation
- Ideally, knowledge of programming μC and e.g. Python
- Communication skills, teamwork and a goal-oriented way of working
- Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
