    Summary

    This job opportunity is within the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Office of Law Enforcement (OLE) and there is a position available in Silver Spring, MD.

    Duties

    As an Investigative Analyst for NOAA OLE, you will be responsible for:

    • Independently creating search strategies and analyzing data to uncover patterns and connections across various sources related to combatting Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing.
    • Compiling and structuring statistical information for investigator evaluation, producing reports and presentations, and sharing data through reports.
    • Applying appropriate methods and utilizing analytical software tools while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and precedents during analyses.
    • Supporting the planning and implementation of efforts to tackle IUU Fishing.
