ABOUT FARIA MANAGEMENT:

Faria Management is the property management division of Dumas Collective. The firm provides boutique style property management services by bringing an unconventional, solution-based owner's approach to urban communities.

Faria Management's mission is to provide a brand of luxury affordable housing which is a high-quality boutique style form of management services, to owners of income-restricted housing.

Faria commenced on-site management operations in 2016 and operates nearly 3,300 units across the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support and report directly to the President of Faria Management and Vice-President of Accounting of Dumas Collective (the "Executives").

The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the other senior management team members. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain balance between multiple and, sometimes, competing priorities.

The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Executive Assistant will successfully provide and lead support to both internal and external parties with a high level of professionalism and in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.


  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion especially decisions directly impacting the global operations of the company
  • Use discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment to handle C-Level matters
  • Sustain a daily calendar of meetings and events
  • Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects and other documents at the direction of the Executives
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for the Executives
  • Prepare expense reports for the Executives
  • Answer incoming telephone calls; take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring nonroutine calls to the appropriate staff
  • Welcome the Executives' guests by greeting them, in person or on the phone; answering or directing inquiries
  • Draft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements, meetings, and organizations that the executives are involved with
  • Receive and distribute mail
  • Create and maintain MyTaxDC and CSC accounts
  • Manage the Executives' contacts
  • Assist in preparing and managing presentations
  • Represent the company and the Executive in a positive light through great followthrough skills and sound judgment
  • Conserve the Executives' time by reading, researching, collecting, and analyzing information as needed, in advance of calls/meetings
  • Organize complex calendars and schedules, resolving any scheduling issues
  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting C-Level executives.
  • Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings.
  • Interest or experience in a field related to real estate development and/or construction
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
  • Advance Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
