Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, currently has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Marketing and Events Coordinator in the Marketing Department of our Boston office.
Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists in the deployment of programs and events hosted/sponsored by the firm, such as teleconferences, webinars, seminars and other events, including the development and production of marketing materials and onsite support and logistics
- Drafts and distributes marketing materials, internal newsletters, press releases, seminar materials, client updates and other client communications
- Creates and maintains records of experience, utilizing the firm's experience database
- Compiles, drafts, and otherwise assists with information for directory and ranking authorities such as Chambers USA, Legal 500, etc., including execution and delivery
- Supports proposal requests, RFPs, RFIs, and other attorney requests, including execution and delivery
- Assists with drafting and track opportunities for nominations for attorneys for a variety of award opportunities
- Ensures the flow of information from attorneys to marketing team, including as it relates to updating attorney biographies, local office and industry group descriptions and content, experience, news tracking, activities data, press releases, etc
- Maintains specific databases such as team rosters, presentation libraries, mailing lists, and other trackers
- Provides backup services to the Global Marketing & Business Development team on an asneeded basis including other short and longterm projects and attorney requests
- Develops relationships with attorneys in the local Boston office
- Collaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams
- Provides excellent client service to internal and external clients
- A selfstarter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independently
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fastpaced work environment
- A positive attitude, strong attention to detail and possesses excellent multitasking and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum 24 years marketing experience; legal or professional services marketing experience preferred
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
