Elm City, NC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced UC-35 / C-12 Transport Aircraft Mechanic Lead to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks and providing supervision and guidance to assigned personnel in the maintenance of our aircraft.

You will also coordinate maintenance efforts to ensure timely completion and return of aircraft to mission capable status.

Other responsibilities include planning daily workflow, reviewing aircraft records, providing on-the-job training, and conducting inspections to ensure quality and completeness.

Additionally, you will monitor and perform operational, functional, and rig checks, as well as participate in towing and movement of aircraft.


To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of five years of UC-35 or C-12 aircraft maintenance and inspection experience as a certificated FAA A&P technician, with at least two of those years specifically on the UC-35 or C-12 aircraft.

You must also have recent full-time experience with these aircraft within the past 12 months, as well as completion of the appropriate USG armed forces aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent training.

A valid driver's license and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance are also required.


Preferred qualifications include an in-depth knowledge of the applicable aircraft, technical publications, and the ability to read and interpret technical data and special operating instructions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as leadership abilities, are also desired. This position may require responding to a variety of operational circumstances,
