    About this role

    • We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and self-starting Founding Engineer.
    • This is more of a product or growth engineering role rather than traditional software engineering in that we want you to have a lot of ownership in what you build.
    • This is a full-stack role and we use a variety of modern technologies including , Vercel, Typescript.
    • We're looking for our first Engineer and would work closely with the co-founders, especially the CTO, to develop our core product of enabling a recruiter-driven marketplace.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead development on our core product
    • Revenue and product driven engineer.
    • You will build and ship high-quality products quickly
    • Collaborate closely with product and the rest of engineering to deliver on our roadmap
    • Own end-to-end design and implementation of features including development, testing and release
    • Potentially be a manager and hire people on top of being an IC

    Requirements

    • 2 - 5 years of experience as a software engineer at reputable early-stage startups
    • You are product + growth engineeringfocused rather than a traditional software engineer
    • You are excited to join an early-stage company (first engineering hire)
    • Bachelor's in Computer Science at a top university in the US (MIT, CMU, Stanford, Berkeley, Harvard, etc)
    • High energy, excited about the product and willing to hustle/work really hard
    • You were one of the following: product engineer, founding engineer, former founder, or worked at a reputable startup (seed, series A or B)
    • Strong and clear communicator
    • Has a great overall design sense

    Nice-to-Haves

    • Previously a Founding Engineer at a reputable seed-stage startup
    • Was an engineer at a recruiting startup or has interest in recruiting
