    Job DescriptionSalary: $21 hour

    Class B Driver (FT or PT)

    Class B driver for Zeigler's Distributor Inc. consists of driving a Box Truck 26001> to make deliveries to our network of customers throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.

    Driving / Duties Responsibilities:

    • Long distance driving/ some overnight 2 day deliveries
    • Communicating and coordinating with Dispatcher
    • Knowledgeable/Responsible for Electronic Logs
    • Must be able to Lift up to but not limited to 50+ pounds
    • Responsible for Record keeping
    • Maintain a clean vehicle, which means "NO SMOKING"
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills preferred.
    • Excellent knowledge of sales and customer service skills preferred but not required.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership skills preferred.
    • Ability to problem solve certain tasks or situations.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
    • Proficient with computers preferred.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • At least two years related experience preferred but not required.
    • Class B driver's license with air brake endorsement

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting , bending and lifting.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
