About us
The UpCounty Hub was developed during the pandemic to meet the needs of local families disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.

Currently, the Hub provides food and essentials to over 1,300 families every week living in the Upper Montgomery County Region.

through safe home deliveries and community distributions. In addition to food the Hub also distributes essentials including hygiene Kits, diapers, wipes, and formula.

The Hub also organizes holiday meals and gifts, collaborates on immunization and vaccination clinics, and serves as a partner in programs to benefit the wellness of the community served.


Summary - Administrative Assistant will manage the daily office operations and assist the Director of Programs and other Directors with reporting and clerical functions. This position reports directly to the Director of Programs.


Essential Duties:

Administrative Assistants are required to:

  • Oversee and ensure daily data entry by staff in excel spreadsheet
  • Create & post monthly distribution calendars.
  • Accurately submit all invoices & purchase orders to Sr. Coordinator, CEO, and accounting for approval by predetermined deadlines. Ensure that checks and payments are delivered to the appropriate parties.
  • Provide documentation as needed for fulfillment of grant responsibilities and reports
  • Properly categorize, file, and submit all donations & donation receipts.
  • Facilitate Partner Outreach along with the HUB Sr. Coordinator.
  • Create documents as needed.
  • Assist with translation as needed.
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:


  • Effective communication skills; written and verbal (English & Spanish preferred)
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong ability to multitask and problem solve
  • Proficient in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Represent the HUB at community meetings upon request
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • A commitment to the mission of the Upcounty HUB in providing essential services to families in need in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner.

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
