Lineal CNC Operator

Shifts Available:

1st shift: 5am3pm M-TH (Fridays as needed for overtime, we are currently working 8 hours most Fridays)_

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments for each job
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications

Requirements:

Previous experience operating CNC machines is a plus
Basic reading, writing, and math skills as well as the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Ability to assemble and fabricate components
Experience working in a production or fabrication environment is preferred
Understanding of tooling and tooling requirements for different machining operations
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

Ability to lift 10lbs on a consistent basis
Ability to lift 1025lbs on a frequent basis
Ability to lift 2550lbs on an occasional basis
Ability to stand for 10 hours per day
Must be able to work overhead on a frequent basis
Must be able to work shoulder level on a seldom to frequent basis
Must be able to have a complete range of movement of the arms and wrist
Hand dexterity and hand grip
Ability to complete repetitive functions on a rotational basis
