    Sunbelt Staffing is seeking for a passionate and experienced Travel Echo Tech to join our team in Newport News, VA This is a rewarding 13-week contract opportunity for a skilled professional.

    About the Role:

    As a Travel Echo Tech, you will play a vital role in our cardiology department. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Performing a variety of adult echocardiographic examinations.
    • Collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal exam results.
    • Preparing patients for examinations, explaining procedures, and answering their questions.
    • Documenting examination information and measurements.
    • Maintaining a sterile and safe environment.

    Requirements:

    • Valid RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) credential in Echocardiography or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
    • Minimum of 2years of recent experience performing a variety of echocardiographic examinations.
    • Experience with some NICU pediatrics is a plus.
    • BLS certification.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Shift:

    • Daytime hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
