Your main tasks include managing, administering, and continuously optimizing the physical and virtual centrally managed network. With your extensive knowledge, you promote innovation, drive technological development in collaboration with security and infrastructure architects, and support the continuous expansion of the network infrastructure in a globally operating team.

Tasks:

  • You are responsible for implementing the requirements for Phoenix Contact's network infrastructure and support in troubleshooting and resolving errors
  • You work in a global team to constantly implement requirements for security infrastructure such as segmentation, automation, identity-based access control (Zero Trust), and more
  • In addition, you support the Incident Detection and Response team in handling security-related events as part of Security Incident Management
  • Timely diagnosis and analysis of complex problems related to network and security infrastructure is part of your job
  • You oversee and optimize parameters and rules for monitoring and enforcing security measures within the network tool landscape
